Does the Audi 4.2L v8 (S4 2004) have a timing belt or timing chain?

I think it's a lifetime of the car sort of thing, similar to the cam timing chains
I got that impression by the fact that it was located at the back of the engine on the 4.2L, and changing it requires pulling the engine.

It's a chain - it's located in the rear for the S4 application - and the tensioner is suppose to be
replaced at 90K miles - to do so one has to remove the engine
