I received an overdue notice today for $18 from A$$Turd&Turd. Never saw anything prior to this.

Apparently, AT&T has started a "new" minimum billing since 7-1-2006. One hour, 3 calls to AT&T and one to Qwest and I was lucky to get 2 months waived after mucho yelling and screaming (yes, I was nice at first.) Even their "slamming" group wouldn't do anything because their "records" show I have had uninterupted AT&T LD since 1995. I have not had any LD charges since June 2002

I have repeatedly called, typically twice a year when something like this comes up, to have LD removed from my home phone - who the fvck uses LD when cell service is usually free?

A report back in 1998 said that of the then current 1 million complaints about slamming, AT$T had logged 500,000 of those complaints. They have since been repeatedly fined by the FCC for slamming tactics. Motherfvckers.

1-700-555-4141 from your landline if you want to see who has snuck onto your account as the LD carrier. If you have no LD, it will say "...not authorized..." Also, call Qwest and ask to have a PIC (Primary Interexchange Carrier) freeze put on your line so nobody but you or a member of your household can make changes and requires written approval.
