OFFICIAL: Pueblo Motorsports Track Day - Friday, July 21st
<center><img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v94/bluefox280/VW%20Events/PMP_track.jpg"></center><p>"WOOT! We can finally take it to the road course..."
So, I'll cut right to the chase... we have an "exclusive" car-only track day.
Which means us VW / Audi owners can be all alone to Pueblo Motorsports road course.
The track day is on Friday, July 21st, 2006 @ 8am - 4pm.
And the track is down in Pueblo, Colorado.
Pueblo Motorsports Park (PMP)
733 N Pueblo Blvd
Pueblo, CO 81003-3988
Directions:
* acquiring, will be posted soon
Details:
* get an "exclusive" day if there's more than 10 cars - which means it's only VW & Audi owners
* $100 a car for a full day of driving
* it is a CAR-ONLY event; no motorcycles
This would be a street car event: helmets are required; seatbelts are mandatory!
The following are options are available to set-up from the track:
* ambulance coverage @ $70 / hour
* only drink concessions
* or... drink & food concessions
MUST READ!!!
If you're wanting to go, please make sure you're coming.
So, If you reply and say you're coming, make sure you show!
It took a good amount of time to get this worked out and would love to have this turn out to be a great event.
The track is reserved for us... but outsiders could come on if we allow.
If we want to have the track only to us, we could have a "password" needed at the public entrance with the attendant.
There is NO track-provided driver's meeting.
But, I highly think we should have one with agreed rules, etc.
What would be a good time? We can get into the infield around ~7:30am.
Questions? Concerns? Please PM me only and ask!

What're you going to cap the involvement at? How are you going to
handle disparite driver and car ability? What about passing and manning corner stations? Paramedics on duty?

Involvement / Options?
If there's a enough cars, there will be "heats" based on attendance and ability.
There will be a posting of rules + regulations, but we as a group are responsible.
Paramedics are avaiable for $70 / hour (8 hours total).

Current Track Condition
They have done some repairs and expansion over the course of the winter.
When I was there just in October, it was a pretty decent surface...
Except for the road course - drag strip interface.
Are you needing more specifics?
