Or does one have to appear to plead not guilty?

write check for the ticket like $5.00 over the ticket amount. Wait for a check from the county and do not cash it. I did not tell you this by the way. lol

Default Alas, nothing. There has been several discusions about this way of handling a ticket and the

conclusion has been that while its a good idea it ultimately doesn't work. The theory is because you don't cash the refund check, the ticket doesn't get processed. This simlpy isn't true.

In order to contest a ticket I believe you must be present. Zev would be a good person to ask as he knows a lot about how to deal with this. (He has a lot of "friends" that drive too fast")

A little searching on AWOT will confirm that this deos not work. Sorry, I wish it did.

Douglas County is a helluva place to speed. I'm pretty sure you can't, but just call and ask.
