Nice marketing idea for go-kart centers. Most of us are too old to compete, but might be a fun idea for your 13-17 yr old kids or little brothers/sisters.

"The following 57 go-kart centers will be hosting Open Qualifying from 15 March through 13 June 2004. Your mission is to make your way to your local participating go-kart center and post a lap time. Then, keep your eye on the Red Bull Leader Board to make sure that you stay at the top of the standings. If you get bumped off the top, don't worry, just get back down to your local center to re-establish your position. You can post as many lap times as you like within the designated dates to secure your place in the Run Offs.

Contact your local center to find out the days and times that they are hosting Open Qualifying sessions."
