RS2 Manifold Install Complete...
First I would like to thank all that helped me both "virtually" and in person. It was a pleasure to meet and work with Josh Moody, Dennis Graber. Parts from Frank Amoroso. And virtually Jerry Scott and Todd Kramer with some great tips and insight. Finally the helpful hints from Brooks and Dave Jones at ASW.
The job does take as long as you have read. I started last night spent about 2 hour removing all but the manifold. And finished up tonight around 7 PM with the help of Dennis and Josh. However this DID include about 2-3 hours of troubleshooting. The main issue was the #1 (counting from the front to back) stud on the bottom row of studs on the block header flange. Although we didnt have to replace it with a shorter stud per the MTM instructions..we wanted to replace her since it was sort of boogered up with normal length stud. Well this "bugger" would not come out. We had 3 separate tools to try to get it out. A stud remover from OEM (deep locking socket type), a Sears Craftsman 4458P stud remover (didnt work for us) and a Sears press/hammer on type stud remover which would just strip the stud. Eventually per the suggestion of Dennis...Josh ran home in his nice 420 HP car running S03's in the Snow to pick up his Die set to rethread this "bugger" (He had the pleasure to see a nice Ford Mustang showing its snow skills to the guard-rail..yeay!) Well she worked like a charm..thank you, thank you! We also spent about 45 min when we forgot to attach the lower coolant line of the center housing of the turbo..."bugger" As for **** Dyno impressions lets let the roads thaw out before I give you any impressions..but she does look good! As Josh put it..my stock turbo now looks like a "turd" ;-) Cant wait for the new turbo to arrive here next week...
Again thanks to all!
Cheers

I broke down and bought a VAG to try to debug all this...
Power felt down like the last time, so after vagging it I saw the MAF values were low. I swapped out the MAF again. However, after swapping it MAF values didn't go back up this time! I did pressure test and found some leaks. I tightened them all up, and hoped for the best, unfortunately, the MAF values are still low. And now I am getting major overshoot on the boost. Not sure if this is a bpv, or n75 valve issue. I think its about time to take it into the shop and see if they can fix it all for me.
