those type of comments should be handled behind closed doors with his fellow executives and certainly not with the media.....this is plain old stupidity on his part....assuming ke liked his new position and didn't want to leave...he certainly could have those opinions (ones I share) but he could have tried to develope long-term branding startegies that would conteract those over time.......

Never mind the Phaeton comments. Mees, like his predecessors, has either failed to understand or care about the crap Audi dealership sales and service in North America. If the bigwigs back in Germany want to know why Audi NA sales are not meeting targets, they should get their heads out of their asses soon...
