Is this DRC?
For the last 100 miles I noticed the left rear suspension started to make more of a BOING sound over bumps than a THUMP. Pushing down on the left rear felt less damped than the other quarters.
I took a long trip (500+ miles) to boston and back last weekend, and on the way back a new noise developed, an almost constant tonal squeaky-squeaky with suspension moves over everything but the flattest road, also from rear. It sounds like something needs lubrication.
I haven't noticed bottoming out or floaty that would indicate DRC has gone away.
Taking it in for scheduled service tomorrow, it is under warranty.
Is this DRC, or something less important?
By the way, the car is otherwise nearly mint and was babied, perfect paint etc.
So if anyone wants a low mileage (sub 19k) example with titanium audi OEM german 5 spokes and low profile PS2s and SE exhaust and proper in-dash navigation screen and warm weather package and clear and german tint etc, lemme know. I'm not determined to get tip-top dollar here.
The local dealer (lifequality) is rs6 certified they'll put right whatever is wrong with suspension, & at AoA expense (armed with any advice I get in this topic). Had no other issues with the car since new..

Re:Sent you and email.
oh well, never got your email..
and haven't had a reply to the one I sent you yet.
If perchance you're still trying to get in touch then post.

dealer says its the strut
and despite having rs techs they "don't have the special tools that may be required, as they cost $50k". So they are checking what needs to be done & where.
what confuses me so far is does the strut == the drc hydraulic system which == valve replacement and so on.
