Default GIAC Chip Info and Dyno

<center><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/15175/rs6_dyno.jpg"></center><p>Hello All,

GIAC has released their RS6 software today.
The engine software is $2000
and the Tip software is $595.

Please note that the tiptronic software is not optional. Because of the large torque increase the oem Tiptronic software will go into limp mode.

The dyno was run on 91 octane fuel.

Please feel free to call or email with any questions.

Jeff

Default About 42 more hp at the wheels!

Do you have a rough area of bhp for the chip?

Default And almost 78 wheel torque! Our power curve is nice and smooth also. What do you mean by area of

BHP?

Default Wow that came out all wrong...

I mean what is an approximate rating for the total gained bhp? I tried doing the math and failed miserably (even though I'm usually good at those things).

Default I do not usually like to convert wheel power to crank. Here is a good conversion based off of

manufacturer base power.

506 horsepower
518 Torque

This is an improvement of about 56 horsepower and 108 ft/lbs of torque.

Take a look at the power band. No dips or spikes.

Default Unless you are posting 91 octane runs then I wouldn't compare them

You'd be surprised how much power is lost between 91 octane and 93/94 or whatever you guys have out there.
