75k.. 435 hp.. coming this fall.. Impressive but still tame looks and detuned v10..
Cant figure why they didnt put the RS4 V8 in it.. Better to ahve a race tuned motor than a detuned one.. imho..

It has the S4 recaro's (with the RS4 logo).. no push button start and the S4 steering wheel..
Seats are nicer than the US RS6 ones.. car feels roomier inside than it really is.. Tremendous acceleration mainly due to 6 speed manual gearing..redline over 8k.. Thats a treat. Listening to this V8 rev up over 8k is amazing..
But in all honesty, its still a 4 series..and one has a hard time justifying this 72k car mainly because of the motor.. similar to the RS6..imho of course./.

Negative.. I was enrolled with my family but the beast got left on the rack at the dealer having
the DRC repaired.. So I had to scratch from Julian..Thats how I got to drive the RS4.. It was supposed to be done thursday but because of the RS4 press party, the mechanics were too busy to get to it before saturday. So while I was waiting for them to repair it, they offered me the RS4 to play with.. I was the only "customer" they let drive it... I'll pick it up tomorrow and hope they fixed it right this time..

not sure how, with not forced induction, unless the "detuning" is all in software...
...but i bet it has some mechanical elements to it as well, like cam, etc.
altho it will be a really nice (and good looking) car, an S6 would just make me very much want the next RS6 instead ;-)

Apparently, its a low end detuning to save the tranny.. If you reprogram, you might blow tiptronic..
Very similar to the RS6 deal.. But less headroom it seems..
