Has Champion ever offered to install the S4 6 speed in other RS6's, or anyone asked?
Just curious what the price would be.
I'd bet $15-$20k using OEM parts, but it would arguably leave the warranty intact for all but the transmission, and deliver faster acceleration than a chip.

Champion will recreate a copy of that RS6 for $210,000

Warranry on trans should still be good...
If it is an authentic OEM S4 6-speed transmission. But I guess they could argue failure or problems as a result of the extra stress on the transmission from the added power of the RS 6.

R&T article says 'it wasn't designed to handle the power, but is holding up just fine..', but
weren't the S4 manual transmissions having problems, the first ones out of the gate, anyway?
I don't recall what the problem was or what the solution was, but supposedly its fine now. Perhaps its stronger?
