Porsches and the like all seem to be able to use a less exotic synthetic.. I mean, they rev higher, they have 2 turbos, ..etc..
What is it about the RS6 4.2 that makes it the only car in its class that needs this special lube to the point that they say using any other oil might cause damage to the engine?
Just a ponderin'...

Don't know much about synthetic oils...
...beyond what they've told me at the dealership, and what I pick up from those here more knowledgeable than I (hint: everyone qualifies!), but I thought I would just take this opportunity to tell you how cool your Beast looks in red.
Every time I read your posts, I admire the photos!
I have Daytona Gray, which I love, too.

Re: thanks..yesterday I was coming out of a store
at the same time as another lady and teenage son, she commented to him that she didn't like the red color. I turned and said, I love red and that is my car! She also owns an Audi..I am sure she didn't expect the owner of the red car to be walking out at the same time...I thought it was pretty funny. She said it was nice to meet another Audi owner..I said I am beyond an owner...ha Then went home and waxed my carbon fiber engine cover...I must have too much time on my hands.
