Default laser speed detectors. Can they be used at night?

I was just thinking as I headed north from Albany last night 8pm, could a laser speed detector be used at night to clock ones speed? There were 7 speed traps on a 150 mile stretch of road between Albany and Plattsburgh, but radar only, no laser.

Just curious (and bored)

Default

But can they accurately aim at your front plate in the dark with headlights blinding them?

Default They can aim between the headlights and get a hit
