I run the Goodyear F1 DSG3's on my oem 9 spokers...I like them.....

Default we have guide lines set by the factory, but its easier for me, since I dont work in

parts or service to just pick up the phone, which is what most parts and service guys will do as well, since most manufacturers will ship cars with four to five different brands of tires on them.

Sorry, should have clarified. I didn't mean brand, I just meant size. Isn't that just one?

If 225/45's, then they're ok; if 225/40's, then they are smaller diameter than stock

Default not all brands are available in some sizes. In this case

Brians car came with Winter tires and non stock five spokes, Brian wanted summer tires, we ordered summer tires to fit the existing rims and put the winters in the trunk for him when he came to pick up the car.
