Default Insurance for RS7

Before I bought my used '16 RS7, I looked at a few other cars, including the Ford Raptor, Cadillac CTS-V and S7 (I know - a motley crew). I had been pretty diligent in checking premiums in advance, and only at the last minute asked for a quote on the RS7. DENIED! My insurer (Encompass) would not insure the RS7. I ended up going with Progressive, and I had to limit the drivers to my wife and me - can't have my 17 year old son or 20 year old daughter drive it. No such concerns about any of the other cars. Anyone else experience something similar, and have recommendations for other insurers?

If eligible, try USAA. My 2014 RS7 is insured there since 2014, including wife and my then 18 year old daughters.

State Farm informed me recently that the premium for the RS7 went up after they an internal review of the car and its specs.

I am thinking of getting a car like that. I wounder what the insurance rates are like this year. A couple of years ago when I bought my first Audi (back then it was a A5) I though it is going to be nice to have a full coverage insurance and I was wrong buying this coverage from a local insurance company as I ended up having a lot of problems after I had an accident with a drunk taxi driver. What could be easier for an insurance company, a drunk taxi driver crashes into an Audi A5 plus I am sober (my BAL was 0) But I had to fight with themfor almoust 8 months to have my compensation back. I sold the car as I couldn't drive it anymore and the repair process costed too much. I thought it was easier to buy a new one. But now I faced another issue, I wanted to buy a full coverage again, but from a good company that would never do the same to me. A lot of friends of mine, and the dealer as well told me that I should buy a full coverage insurance from https://westrank.ru/insurance as this is the best insurance company and I will never have any issue dealing with them, and that's true. After my car was accidents, after a week my insurance company paid me all the coverage and I was able to repair my car asap. Now I am 100% that my car is fully covered and I will never face any single issue dealing with this company
