Default "Corrupted" SD card?

Twice loaded MP3s into a 2GB SD card for the RS4, and twice the player says it is "corrupted". What's the trick to get these to play?

Default I'm a klutz...

how does one reformat the card, and do you run the risk of losing the tunes in the process? TIA, guys!

Default Check all these things ...

1) SD card must be formatted to FAT or FAT32.

2) Check filename does not include characters like "!"

3) Check total path length (filename + folder name) is less than 64 characters.

4) Check there are no other files on the SD card - like desktop.ini or any other Windows system files.

Right click and select format. Format deletes ALL files on the SD card

Thank you! I'll need to save what's on the card, reformat and and reload.

Default Is it a mini-sd card in an adapter?

I was getting the "corrupted" message when I was using a particular adapter that had a sliding cover case.

I changed out the sliding cover adapter for a once piece adapter and I haven't had the corrupted message since.
