Default 18" wheel recommendations

Since there are a wider variety of tire options for 18" wheels, I'm looking for a set to use on the track. Needs to be at least 9" wide so I can run 275/35/18 or 265/35/18 sizes.

Default really depends how much you're looking to spend

Tire rack has some pretty good 18" wheels made for them that are good for track use.

Hartmann wheels has some average options as well.

I went with the RS4 DTM 18" for split use. Track and Winter.

havent received it yet, but pictures will be posted once i do.

Default I have two sets of the Team Dynamic Racing wheels 18x9

one is waiting for R compound rubber. The price is right at about $250 per wheel, great for a track set so you can spend the $$ on the rubber...

You can spend a lot more too, just my personal choice.<ul><li><a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/rs4b7/msgs/84837.phtml">Original post</a></li></ul>

Default Very nice, and the price is good too...

I wonder if offset 23 will clear the stock suspension though

The offset is perfect for 275 rubber and an agressive height.

Default Re: 18" wheel recommendations

My opinion is probably not popular but I believe
now that 255/40-18 on 9 x 18 is the way to go. Extra width is detremential to the proper deflection of the sidewall at speed.

Other profile sizes cause too much of a percentage change in diameter from stock for proper braking.
