Default 25k Maint, Fuel Sensor Replacement, and DRC Check getting done today

Turns out there is a recommended recall on the Fuel Sensor, so they are replacing mine today as I went in for my 25k service. Not sure mine was having problems, but maybe I just haven't noticed.

Parking in a cramped condo garage and having no jack I have not been able to look for DRC leaks, but I have noticed my handling getting looser over time. Having the dealer check it out.

I think I bought the car with 8K on it, so I've driven 17k happy miles, more than my previous 5 cars (I changed cars every year for awhile) and I must say the RS4 is still a joy to drive. I love how it takes me on spirited drives, camping, skiing, pretty much anywhere it has got to be one of the most versatile vehicles.

I'll keep you guys updated...

Default Good luck - I'm going in on Wednesday

my SA said the Fuel Sensor was on a service bulletin, not a recall (guess that means you have to bitch about it to get it fixed).

My left front is definitely leaking. Can't get a good look at the right front or the rears in my garage.

Default My 25K appointment is next weekend

Will be getting the fuel sensor replaced, interested to know if I'll feel a difference. Also will definitely have them check the DRC...crossing fingers.

Just stick a digital in the fender well and take a photo - you can get a great look

Default They say DRC is fine... going to have to check myself

Short drive home, didn't notice anything too different with the new fuel sensor, but more tests will have to be conducted.

The DRC worries me though, the handling certainly feels less planted on high speed sweepers before. Bumps or expansion joints seem to unsettle the car more than before. I don't hear any clunking though which is good.
