Default 3rd gear a bit crunchy?

I don't have my car at the moment but I remembered I wanted to ask other folks who have theirs something.

I noticed that all of the gears except 3rd seem very smooth. However whenever getting into 3rd I feel the friction of the surrounding material in the gearbox, its almost a bit like a crunchy feeling. It's not very crunchy, it just lacks the butterlike slide-in of the other gears.

Is this something noticable on your cars? Can you check it and see if all 6 gears are equally compliant/resistant when moving in and out of them?

Btw, I seem to notice this only on getting into third, more than getting out of it..

Default Ya, me too. It sounds XXX. Dxben did you try some lube, maybe that's why she's mad at you in

the first place? : ) LOL

You may want to have them look into it while they have her, no need to prolong the separation.

You know if she's gone too long she may consider letting someone else drive her.
If I were you I'd go and visit her every few days so she doesn't get lonely. : )
