in the rear and front bumper of the cars because it is plastic? I'm about to pick up an ibis white 07 amd noticed it. I'd had a friend go check out the car and he also noticed it when in direct light and with the camera's flash. I was wondering if this was a normal ocurrance on this car. I noticed it in on both the car I'm about to buy and a picture of an ibis white car at the audi factory. Please chime in. Was it a production defect? What do you guys think?

Butas time has passed, my bumpers, rocker panels and even the front front fenders are a slightly different color.

It is not acceptable no matter what excuse they try to use.

The plastic vs. metal is not a legitimate reason, the reason they are different colors is because they are painted off the car in a different place and then assembled. If it was plastic vs. metal all the colors would have a different tone, not just Ibis. Wherever they were produced the color match wasn't correct for Ibis.

When I was looking at a white 997 C2S at the local p dealer (prior to rs4 purchase) I noticed the same 'mismatch' between the bumper and hood/fenders. This car was brand new. I mentioned it to the salesman, but he didn't know why either.

Maybe its a Audi Porche thing with white.
