Default Allow myself to introduce myself

Been lurking for awhile, and decided it was time to come out of the shadows. I have an '08 rs4 daytona grey, premium & titainium pkgs. I have had the car since Aug of '09 (third owner, a corporate lease, and then a guy who never drove it). love the car, & having a lot of fun. Bought the car w/12,500mi, had a clunk in the suspention right from the get go, dealer replaced 4 shocks and 2 coils with the upgraded parts(different car now, & that's with snows) my epc light has come on twice, first time they ran the cleaner through(worked good), second time code came up as "intake valve motors" telediagnostics to the homeland came up with poor vacum. traced vac lines all through car, front bumber off, inside trim off, found one line crimped, and one line flatened under a wiring harness, dealer fixed all for free, no hassels. that's my story, will be hitting the track this summer, & can't wait

Default Hello!

Yes it can be slow in here...WELCOME! I haven't been here long as well. Congrats on our purchase (great choice). I am in the Boston Area (North of Beantown) and I also have a RS4 (Misano Red). Maybe we will link up and compare notes.

Best Regards,

Thanks for the hello, I live in Wellesley, I don't see too many RS4's around, there are one or 2 others right around me (one is Babson kid I think), I bet the red looks sharp, luv to talk shop sometime.

Default Welcome

Welcome to you - I'm also relatively new - Got a '08 Brilliant Blk on blk convertible three months ago. I'm in the Mid-Hudson Valley NY - and loving life - especially now that its warming up and the top comes down.

Any one on the forum from tri-state/upstate ny area?

Greetings to all

I live in New Jersey, about half an hour outside of NY, however I attend school in Texas, so that's where my car is at the moment. I'll be driving it home however come summer time. Not looking forward to those Tri-State Pot-Holes though... :-p

Thx, I see you live in FC, I used to live in Telluride, I like the east coast, but miss the living out there

The RS will be good for you back there - as well as here
