Another oil change question...
Just got my first oil change with the dealer and will most likely go back to them when service indicator comes on again. I know a lot of you are changing the oil yourself in between those dealer visits or have completely taken over the job. Well, it seems that the concensus is to drain the oil plug instead of using an oil extractor. My question is that if I am doing an extra oil change between dealer visits, isn't it better to do the change with an extractor (even though it doesn't get the last drop), than not doing the oil change at all? Or is there some harm in that?

Re: The worst sludge collects in the pan...
Again, my question is...isn't it better to get out 99.8% of the oil and replace it with new oil than to not replace it all? Hate to beat a dead horse, but my oil extractor is so much quicker and easier than going under the car.
