Default SEP

Somebody Else's Problem

I just put an SEP field around all my worries and fall fast asleep.

I know that this can get a bit neurotic at times, but being an engineer, I'd rather be armed with possibilities, especially when going in to have my car serviced for some problem. If someone isn't having a problem with their engine, then they aren't having a problem and should not get too concerned. Use good fuel, a good oil and change it out frequently, and all will most likely be well.

But for those who get the dreaded misfire problem, it's nice to know that you might not be alone, and there might be a reason. By all indications these issues (if they are not just your normal coilpak issues) can be resolved with fuel additives, the correct oil blend and associated oil additives, if I understand Terry correctly and read the research, which confirms his knowledge.

Default I think it's great...

I have learned a lot reading these forums, mostly from RI RS4's posts. I am looking forward to learning how the oil study plays out. Until then, I am going to change my oil often and continue to go out of my way to find Shell V-Power.

Default It's not gonna work. Your'e in it deep! I suppose...

you'll be able to filter out a misfire and project it onto someone else. Is that what happened to Evilbuddha's car? Hmmm : )
