Default any chance of getting an rs4 avant in the states to buy in a few months?

dad loves avants, but wants an rs4. ive told him that there are no rs4 avants, he swears he's seen one

i told him he might have seen a rebadged S4 avant, but no rs4 avant. ive shown him the article about the european tour where aw members drove the rs4 avant in germany.

what are the chances of getting an rs4 avant in the US? or what's required to get one over here?

Default No chance....

The closest one can get other then federalizing one is to start with a S4 Avant or A4 Avant and get the body panels from the RS4.

Hopefully Audi will bring the Avant over for the next RS4.

Default Tell him to buy an S4 Avant, full Milltek and GIAC then put on some RS4 reps. Best he can do.

Check the link for reasons why the RS4 Avant didn't and won't come here.

https://www.audiworld.com/news/07/rs4-cabriolet-us-bound/content.shtml</a

Actually, you could probably get a widebody kit also...

Default been there, tried that; rs4 avant not allowed in us cuz battery is in "passenger compartment"

i.e., the back of the car, which in a wagon is the passenger compartment, but not in the sedan.

Default the spot for the battery in the engine bay

is just empty. why can't you just relocate the battery. there are even terminals there for jumping the car...

or would you still have to rewire the electrical system
