Anyone have the Milltek VALVED and RESONATED exhaust? Thoughts please.

I had it on my last RS4...
I found it to be loud, at times...in cabin...even while resonated...but I never had it on the car without the down pipes, and don't know if they made the exhaust louder.
The other thing I don't care for with the valves, is that you need to choose the 'sport' mapping to have the valves open.

In my 20's, I didn't want them. In my 30's it depended on the system. Now, I'm 42. I need them...
I still love the car to rip under throttle, but as I get older, I find myself wanting it quieter during "normal" operation. Basically, I like the sound of the stock system. It's just a *little* too subdued for this car IMO. Perfect to me would be if the valve closed position sounded like the valve open position, and the valve open position was a tad deeper and with a little more growl. Anyway, I've had the car for a little over a year now so some mild mods will be coming this spring.

I'm really diggin' my resonator eliminator pipe.
Haven't got sick of the extra volume, seems perfect - roughly same as stock with Sport on. I push the Sport only occasionally now when I feel extra cocky, and the car just roars. Far more volume differential between Sport off/on than stock. $299.

I have VALVED/NON Resonated, and wouldn't change a thing. Close the valves and it's like the car was stock with the "S" mode enabled. Best of both worlds IMO.

I'm 41 and agree with you...
I had non-res Milltek on my S4 and loved it. So I ordered non-res for my RS4, but found it to be a little too loud for normal driving. Called Stratmosphere and they sent out the res pipes at no extra charge. Sounds great when idling and sounds even better at full throttle. By the way, to save a little money, I did not get the valved system...the price jump just seemed too much.
