Default Anyone have specific info on the clutch vacuum assist hose on early VIN RS4's?

There is no TSB or recall on this issue. Any suggestions on a dealership/SA who has dealt with this that I may be able to call. Thanks.

Default I dont know personally but Riverside Audi in NJ did it for me for free

Maybe give them a call?

What is the symptom that warrants replacing hose?

the clutch pedal gets so tough to press that driving the car is near impossible.

Default For me it was different

Sometimes it would be very stiff like you said and sometimes it was like there was no resistance and it went right to the floor.

Default anyone know if they designed a production fix early on?

or was it ignored and an issue that still needs to be addressed for every car?
