Default at least a grand just for the parts.
pads alone are almost $500 (f&r), and that's from Clair. $680 regular retail price.

rotors are probably a lot more.

Default a lot. I've done it. rotors once, pads thrice. I ate the cost. ouch.
by comparison, the M5's brakes (at least the pads) were significantly cheaper to replace... you can thank the one pad per each piston design of the RS4's front calipers for that.
