Mine is 06 ipod but great, only plays first 99 songs of first 6 playlists

Default Does the 08 have the same limitation? I thought 08 fixed that?
But maybe I am engaging in wishfull thinking.

Default Haven't used mine yet but the manual says it will only play 5 playlists. It will play more than 99
songs in a playlist but the display will only show a two digit track number so if you play track 125 it will show up as 25 in the display. They suggest that each playlist be limited to 99 tracks to avoid confusion.

This is a software issue that could be addressed in this generation of cars.

I think it may be more of a hardware limitation with the existing system
