Default anyone think they designed the shifter poorly in the RS4?
On hot days, I cant hold the damm thing to shift. I have to get in my car and wait for the thing to cool down. I have started to keep a small towel to drape over the shifter when I leave the car. Poor design in my opinion.

Default so you're saying that you don't wear nomex gloves and associated gear when you drive?

lol actually i do wear nomex gloves but only in the winter. Maybe I should start in the summer too..

S4 had basically the same problem, it's only for a couple of months a year

my S4 had no such problems as the shifter was all leather.

I just drove it...is 100 degree outside and is so damn hot to shift.....

110f outside, and about 140f inside. Ouch!
