I really liked the way it sounds.

Default I've been planning on it, just have too many cars taking up the shops time...

already. ...straight pipes instead of the resonator, and the "S" button should still have some sort of effect.

Two pipes come out of the muffler into the oval tailpipe, one is controlled by the S button.

Default so technically if replaced it with the aftermarket muffler, is equal to have valve open all the time

and the S button will only control the mapping?

yes, and sound would depend on the muffler of course.

Default Only if others do it first and confirmabsolutely no cabin resonance.

I did it on my new 2003 M5 and I loved it. A nice deep sound but not too loud, no cabin resonance whatsoever, and 30 pounds lighter to boot.

Default But if you don't push the S button you won't get the throttle remapping

so you'll still need to push the S button even with an aftermarket exhaust.
