Audi dealers can be SO clueless!
I was at my local Southern California dealership last night, picking up my B6S4 after a service. Cruising the lot, I didn't see any RS4's, so I asked the salesman who immediately came running up. He told me "They aren't in the country yet." I said "Oh yes they are..." so he checked with his boss. "Nope, not here yet."
Good Lord -- I've seen TWO different RS4's at this dealership in the last six months. They were astonished when they checked their computer and found 20+ unsold at dealers in California alone.
Why does AoA inflict dealerships like this on us?

Walter's in Riverside
I've had my problems with them. In February I went to them, specifically to order an RS4. It would have been my 11th Audi. The salesman was so rude - said he'd be right back, then ignored me for close to an hour - that I left.
I was so pissed off I started looking around. Ultimately, instead of trading in my '05 S4 Avant on a new RS4, I decided to keep the Avant and instead leased my Subie STI. It hauls @#$, costs practically nothing, and I still have the Avant for hauling stuff. I race road bicycles and ski, so the Avant really is a benefit.
When my Avant goes off warranty it'll be time for a new car. If I can still find an RS4 at that point I'll probably get one. Probably from a different dealer!

Were they willing to deal at Walter's ? I had good sales experience in
2004, but they treated me like second class citizen when it came to service, so I bailed to Hoehn and never looked back

No idea. I bailed on them completely.
I kissed off the RS4, kept my S4, and got a Subaru. I was treated FAR better at the Subaru dealership than I have EVER been treated by any Audi dealer. Pretty sad, isn't it?
