I'd say it's less effective, it uses the same snorkel inlet that the stock system does
... and the stock system has 2 other inlets:
One from the front flap
One from the wheel well.
One from the front flap
One from the wheel well.

Looks very cool. But, the dyno sheet is not convincing. You could get two consecutive dyno runs to have that much difference just by letting the oil get up to temp. Now if it could improve mileage by 2-3 mpg, then I'd spend that kind of yen.

Even Audi/Champion used the stock airbox on this...

Putting out about 500hp with the stock box and filter. According to the guys that built it the stock airbox flows so well they didn't need to consider anything else...<ul><li><a href="https://www.audiworld.com/news/07/alms-vitesse-rs4/">ALMS Vitesse RS4</a></li></ul>
