I agree completely. Hopefully Audi will not degenerate as far as Saab has in
terms of blending the line across the board where it completely lost what made them interesting originally. The R8 does keep the edge certainly, as did the last TT in being something completely differet than everything else out there. The S5 is gorgeous working within the new mold of course.

Saab was 'helped' along by GM
they really decimated the company's resources, forcing them to slap their badge on an Equinox and Subaru Outback Sport(the small one)...and calling them 9 whatevers.
trying to make a comeback now. have you seen the new 9'3, including the ragtop? much better, and automotive press thinks so too. it may be too late though...

agree
the S6 is how they should look, if used at all.
incorporating them into the headlight unit, well, seems like they are just going for a look there...a look that will probably be shortlived. wait until the Japanese jump on that and copy it. Audi will run from it then, LOL.

big improvement on the grill though
like night and day.
it's smaller, wider but lower, AND it no longer protudes out. notice how it is tucked back from the rest of bumper that has an agressive look on each side?
this is the way this grill should have been from day one, IMO. i could easily live with the new grill, and actually like it.
