Just finished the audio/video thing in my RS4 and was trying to get away from lots of gizmos laying about....my wifes 550i has a sweet iPod/USB setup but now I have to look at do I just use the iPhone as a phone ( bought one for each car) or do I try and tap into its upside...ugh.

It's all about the toys.

At least the units sold paired in seconds unlike the Beta's we had.

it does IF you leave the screen powered up and unlocked. phonebook syncs perfectly.

I *think* I remember reading that stereo bluetooth is standard on the iphone, but I doubt very much that Audi supports stereo bluetooth. Even if you *could* use the ipod function through the Audi, what's the use?... the music fidelity would be crap.
