Default Carbotec is out as they just told me I need a new set of rotors just for the pads.......

What other pads would be good both on the street and track that I can order ASAP? O, and by the way the dealer just quoted me $553 for stock pads for all four.

Default Ferodo DS2500

You'll need two sets @ $179 per, plus shipping.

The Ferodo part number is FCP1664H

Zeckhausen racing part number 63-360-1029 Brembo GT8

Default Oh, and you shouldn't have to replace the rear pads

They just don't get any appreciable wear.

Default The reason, as I've been told....

...is:

"It's because the material we use in our compounds are completely different than what our competitors use. They won't mix well and will cause problems when braking. Such as, shuttering, and our pads won't slow the car down as quickly as they should. This can also make our brake pads wear more quickly. The general rule of thumb is to do this with all manufacturers. Please let me know if you have any other questions."
