Check Engine Light came on for a day and then went out this.....
morning. Took the car to the dealer to have it checked and they said there was no fault recorded. Has anyone else had this issue? The car is just a year old with 8,500 miles and this has never happened before.

Was your gas cap not completely tightened?
That will throw CEL. Alos some minor emission "leaks" can do the same. My S4 did it twice for (what the deale called) minor emmission leaks.

I had not refueled since Thursday and the CEL just came on yesterday (Sunday) so I'm assuming it wasn't the gas cap. Thanks for the tip on this.
