Audi Sport NA/Champion ALMS RS4 uses a stock airbox
The car was built/designed to run in the Speed World Challenge series, but they ended up not running it. They even made it a point to mention to me that it's running a stock airbox and filter...
Seems like they feel it flows plenty well. Not sure if it was de-flapped.

Nice Article!
Still doesn't deter my exploratory nature! I am still going to try to mess with this a bit, see if it is workable. May never happen, but would love to say I was the first kid on my block to try it and succeed at keeping the sound output up, keep the improved pull in 3-5k range, and drop to oil temps to where they were before. Hey you never learn withut trying it out.

Those idiots. Didn't they ever see Fast'n'Furious?
When it comes to unleashing the true potential of an engine, Hollywood and the punks at the tuner shop and are light years ahead of anybody else.

Ah, that explains my flat spots. Have to fire the midget now.
damn it, it's hard to find a good one these days. They're as reliable as DRCs, except that I get better warranty terms from PepBoys
