Default Coming to the neighborhood

Hi everyone,
Many of you may remember me from the B5 A4 forum, before you rose to newer models.

Well...I took the plunge and I am picking up a pre-certified 2007 Phantom Black on Wednesday this week.

I have been surfing around for the last few hours and looking at the mods and general flavor of the forum.

I had a few questions though. Are there any particular writeups or things I should plan for?

I see many of you have gone quickly for the stasis ohlins over the factory suspension. Did this have any draw backs? I would have thought the cross feeding would have played into the handling more.

Also I am looking to get some wheels and tires for the car. I need to get something for the remaining winter months. Besides tirerack is there a preferred vendor?

Thanks and I'll post up a full welcome when I take possession of the car.

-Will

Harmann wheels are recommended too - getting tires now may be difficult

Default thanks Reggie

I saw a couple deals posted in the classifieds. I'll see if they pan out

Default Only a few of their wheels do not require spacers for the RS

It needs different ET offset - can't remember what it is for our cars

I just took the easy way out and bought an SPP unit.
