Dealer doesn't want to pay $2k for DRC tool, what should I do? Please help!
Ok guys, it's been a month since I took my RS4 in and had my DRC looked at. Both front shocks were leaking and I have the dreaded thump over bumps. Well the service manager keeps giving me the run-around, claiming that he is trying to get a hold of the Audi rep and that they are looking into whether or not they will use this tool ever again.
So here's my problem. This is the only dealer in Nova Scotia. The next closest dealer is in New Brunswick, Dieppe Auto Audi, which is 170 miles away. But I don't even know if they have the DRC tools...
So, should I call up AoA and complain? If so, anybody know a good rep or person to talk to?
The car drives like complete crap and I have only driven about 30 miles this past month.... Not what I paid $75k for!

I'm amazed they were so candid
The dealer you purchased the car from plans on NOT covering your warranty because it will cost them money?
either pay for the tool or make up an acceptable excuse like "Its out of warranty" or "What leak..."

Call AoA
Get an attorney and call AoA. They are obligated to fix the vehicle, even if it means flying someone in. If they refuse, have your attorney go after them for all sorts of things, including "loss of use", etc.
I'll bet a $200 letter from an attorney will light a fire under their ***.

Ask them to buy you Stasis which will cost them $2k and submit the warranty claim to AOA
They break even, everyone is happy. I know it isn't that simple but that is what I'd try.

Get Audi Canada involved in the matter. Also I'm sure someone in NS can install a simple...
Coil over kit like the STaSIS SLs. In all due respect if you can afford a $90K + car in Canada you can afford the SLs.
