Mike, IMO I would not paint the defuser, overkill of silver.
The black is the only contrasting color and makes the car appear lower and wider.
Besides since its a "fake" piece the fake opening of the grill portion will be exposed.
Just my 2 cents

Front badge on grill? If so, screwdriver, 5 seconds. . . it's a clip on
For the others, blow dryer (2 - 3 minutes) and dental floss. About 30 minutes in total (including the polish and detail spray clean-up).

I took them off...even though it makes the back taller, no-one can really make out the car &

Nice, I think personally I would leave JUST the rear badge but...
That's just because my B5 S4 was that way, and I really liked it
But jeez, the b7 rs4 comes with way too many badges.

Thanks. Clearly, the rear door badge has rec'd the most criticism.
But, you're right. There are 15 RS 4 references inside and out and 2 "RS" references on the front brakes (So, that's 17). For the guys with the special order RS4 floor mats, that puts them in the twenties!!!
Arguably, they ALL look pretty damn sweet. . .
