Default Defective POS Perelli P-Zero just cost me $440.

Bubble in the sidewall. Shop says no warranty coverage due to "sidewall impact damage". Inside, the tire is perfect at the area where the damage is.

Car has only 10,000 miles never been driven by anyone but me and I've never hit anything even close to damaging the tire. 6mm (9 new) tread remaining. There is no doubt whatsoever that this is a defective tire so I'm a little PISSED with Perelli right now for hosing me with having to buy a new Perelli to replace the POS junk one that came on my car. I'll remember this at my next tire purchase.

How's the wear on the other three? Are you considering replacing them all?

Same thing happened to me with my S4. After about 5,000 miles, my front left tire developed a tumor on the sidewall. Pirelli wouldn't cover me either.

Check out Tire Rack and I am sure you'll find many others with the same issue.

Default No! $1760 for tires at only 10,000 miles of easy street use is criminal.

All tires are wearing very evenly, I measured 0.25 at all locations with a depth gauge (6.3mm). New they're 9mm. The shop measured "6mm" on the bad one.

We all should keep this in mind next time we buy tires.

Default it might be covered under warranty.

IIRC, there's a Pirelli leaflet in with the owner's manual....never looked at it, but most tires come with a manufacturers warranty. any authorized Pirelli tire shop should be able to take care of it.

I had this happen once with a Dunlop....they gave me a decent pro-rated discount on the replacement tire.

Default it's happened to many different tires, not just Pirelli.

Brigdestone 'blowtenza' on the B5S4, remember those? And as I posted below, I had a Dunlop SP9000 do it too.

Surely, but are the others ducking the warranty claim?

Default Thanks for re-reading

I actually have Rosso's on my Porsche, so I forgave them. On the P-car they are amazing. One thing I didn't mention was the noise on the Audi after 5k miles. They definitely run at a higher decible level once broken in!
