Do you guys think the RS4 will sell (and hold value) much better than the RS6 did?

FYI, 'residual values' don't have a whole lot to do with predicted value at the end of the term...
...the values are inflated or deflated in the financial institutions' best interests; it's all part of their manipulation for the most profit on your financed dollars.

I would think it would depend on the supply and demand. Just remember
that the RS6 was only a 1 yr run in the US . Actually designated as an 03 model, but not available until Aug 03 and sold primarily during the 04 model yr.

I feel pretty much the same. . .
I plan on enjoying my 2 month old S4 for a couple of years and picking up the 3rd year RS4. In the interim, I plan on attending a couple Audi sponsored driving education events to sharpen my novice skills. It would really be a shame to sit behind the wheel of a RS4 without any professional training, IMHO.

sure...
...they started at .0041, but came down to .00375 (48 months). Chase offered a better MF, but they were lower on the residual, so the AFS deal was better. Part of the problem is that none of the lenders have rates for this car yet, so in the case of Chase, we had to get a special rate quote from their corporate office.
I think I could have done better on the MF, but it would have taken some effort. The dealer gave me a nice deal on my trade-in, and sold me the RS4 a little under MSRP, so I'm a happy camper.

Thanks for the info! I ran into the same problem getting insurance.
The MF is hideous, but about what I expected. I'm not sure what I'm going to do about my lease because, as you said, none of the lenders have any info on the car. There just aren't any great lease deals at the moment

The car has been out three days, and already people posting that they're paying below MSRP...
...and that there are available cars showing up at dealerships in the first batch.
IMO these cars will experience typically Audi-steep depreciation. I don't think the market will support a $70k+ compact sedan, especially a facelifted three year old design, regardless of how good the RS4 may be.
