I can hear the people fine, but they always say I sound horrible. This is when calling landlines and cellphones so it's not the connection. Is it my Bluetooth? Or possibly my Microphone? Anybody else have this issue?

bluetooth systems through an in-car mic/speaker will always have varying degrees of sound deficiencies regardless of the car, especially at highway speeds, with lots of road noise, etc. It's simply a consequence of having the mic too far. I've had some issues on the RS4, as well as other BMW's, Mercedes', Acuras I currently have or had. It's just never as clear as when you're actually holding the phone or using one of those bluetooth headsets. Even my colleague always sounds like **** when talking through the in-car bluetooth system despite his high-tech new S550 that you would think would have second-to-none sound insulation and electronic noise-filtering crap. And he insists it's my phone that sucks.

the sound tends to cut out more often in the bimmer, and I haven't had that problem in the RS4.

Nope - iPhone/BT worked flawlessly.

is absurdly loud. This problem only started after the 1.1.1 firmware update.

I have not figured how to listen to voicemail messages via the BT

But i think if the iphone has already downloaded the voicemail then it won't be there to hear.
