Default Dynolicious in Car & Driver December issue

There have been previous posts about Dynolicious. I have it and it works OK. A review of the app was included in the 12.08 issue of Car & Driver so I thought I would pass on a portion of the writeup here...

"To see if the application can deliver accurate acceleration numbers, we compared quarter-mile numbers generated by our VBOX II GPS data logger to the results. The elapsed times were consistently slower than the VBOX data by 0.3 second or so, but that consistency allows you to determine if any modifications to your car yield an actual power gain. The skidpad screen is entertaining but hardly a good measuring tool. Overall, if you already have an iPhone or an iPod Touch, it is worth the $13, but don't expect it to put us out of business."

Default I found it to be accurate to <.15s when compared to my timeslips at Epping

You just have to make sure it is mounted in the car properly.

What percentage of drivetrain loss do you set Dynolicious for our RS4?

Default I have it 90% written for Windows Mobile...

I wrote a program for Windows mobile devices to do the same thing. I have it 90% completed, but sorta lost interest then... Obviously the device needs an accelerometer. I have the HTC Touch Diamond.

I've done a lot of analysis on recorded data, I think I have it pretty much all done, just kinda lost interest once I knew it all worked...

If anyone is interested I could prob use some people's feedback and/or input and testing and finish the thing off...

Default Did you finish your app yet?

I have a Touch Pro and I'm willing to test it out for you.
