Default whoaaaah, let's get something straight

The review has the new M3 over the RS4 Cab, however you are burrying the story here.

The review otherwise dolles out tons of criticism, backhanded compliments and general unenthusiastic commentary on the new M3. They could muster enough to say the car is very very good, but that is also after otherwise displaying dissapointment with it.

Clearly that is what I am referring to when I say car and driver has their word cut out for them.

And by the way, to add insult to injury, the fact that they found the steering in the RS4 cab more enjoyable than the M3? Oh lordy, steering has always been one of those things relished by M fans and dangled in the face of Audi drivers.

Common, stop pretending like this review wasn't a slapdown that will have some BMW fans licking their wounds.

The M fan friends of mine came back to me with comments like:

"i don't care what they say, M3 will always be number 1 to me"..

hardly sounds like they felt this review was glowing.

So you think the changes to suspension would address that? I thought that was tramlining issues.

Default You make some otherwise fair points

There seem to be many positive reviews based on your list.

I think maybe I am getting at an overall lack of exuberance for this car. I will need to spend some time to demonstrate what I mean.

It definitely changed it. Tramlining is common in any wide tire car...this is different.

I can see that. I wonder if they went to active steering at BMW for the M3.
