Default I'll follow up on it when the car goes in for service (next few weeks) & report back

But i'm 95% sure it's just a dealer f-u carry-over letter from back when Audi had that program.

Maybe I should get a lawyer and press them j/k

Default Thanks for checking on this, I'm sure there are a lot of us who would like our money back...

and others who would like the maintenence without having to pay for it.

I guess the dealers throwing it in for some people wasn't really doing anything, but making the buyer think he was getting something.

Default They are not offering free maintainence for "Free"

They are offering it for $550. The email he recieved was Audi or the dealer soliciting "Audi Care" you have 12 months from date of purchase to buy Audi Care.

You first 5000 mile service is complimentary.

Default Nope, actually they are offering it for free, and that's why it's so suspicious.

You probably need to read the original thread to get up to speed on exactly what the letter said. It was not a sales pitch for Audicare.

Default ..welcome. I thought maybe a dealer-promo, but they tried hard to sell me Audi Care...

when the car was delivered. I plan to buy Audi Care, but not until I need it (2nd scheduled maintenance). We have one year from delivery to purchase, so why buy before you need it? The money would be wasted if the car was traded, totalled, or out of service. Maybe the big lure is to finance the cost of Audi Care?

But then, if my letter is correct (which I doubt), I won't need Audi Care!
