Default Fall Photo Shoot

Before my road trip this weekend, I detailed the RS4 and took some nice fall shots. Thought I'd share...

Wow, nice pic. Were you in a manhole or something?

Ha! No, I was standing downhill about 50 feet away. In one of the pics I was kneeling. In the other pic, I put the camera on the ground. The closeup of the leaves on the pavement made for a nice effect.

Nice!! Did you try a tilt and slight crop for a photographically artistic effect? It doesn't take much of a tilt but it has to look like the tilt was done on purpose so the horizon doesn't look like you weren't paying attention.

More pics please!

I took a billion shots, some tilt, some not. For whatever reason, I liked the straighter versions better on this one. Next up, snow shots... But will have to wait a few more weeks for that one (and I need to get some winter tires!)

Looks Great!! What kind of camera are you using, I use an 8.1 mp sanyo digital and it seems to flatten the dimensions and dull the colors...

I'm currently shooting with a Nikon D90. Use a long lens and wide open aperture. This will result in a shallow depth of field. The contrast between what's in focus and what's blurry is what creates a sense of depth. As for the colors, I did quite a bit of post-processing in Photoshop.
