Flap modification question
SO I just did the switch mod for the flapper
https://forums.audiworld.com/rs4b7/msgs/67454.phtml
and when I went to test it nothing happened. It says in the write up you should hear a thump from the flap during testing when it opens.
I tried it with the just turned on and as well as running.
Any ideas of what I did wrong? The only that I changed was the use connectors instead of using solder.
Thanks for the help.

Re: Flap modification question
Take the air inlet tubing off and take a look inside the airbox to see if the flap moves. If it does not open, then go to your switch and make sure your center wire on the switch back to the flap is correct. If it is, then make another jumper wire. Connect one side of the wire to chassis ground, and short the other to the wire that goes to the flap. With the engine on and running, it should actuate the flap. If you haven't wrapped up the wires yet, you can just unplug your wiring and plug the ground connection right into your connectors.
