Forged RS4 Replicas?

Forged RS4 Replicas?
Anyone know where I can get forged RS4 replicas?
If I had to guess, they would be 15lbs lighter than stock wheels (assuming stock wheels are 5lbs).
What kind of difference would 60lbs in total unsprung weight make in performance?

18"x8.5" ET 38 from Velocity Motorsports=23.8 lbs, which is only....
2 lbs. more than the 19" x 8" Hartmann forged.
They're not forged, but they are nice, and light for a cast wheel.
Oh, BTW - I run them as my summer set up, and weighed them personally.

I think that's a subjective thing. I personally can easily tell the difference between my...
..B7 RS4 reps (23.8 lbs each) and my OZ Superleggeras (18 lbs. each).
5.8 lbs/corner may not sound like much, but I feel it in the way the suspension reacts and the way the car moves off the line.
Others have mentioned that they don't notice the difference at all. I guess our "butt-dynos" all have differing levels of sensitivity! ;-)
Truly, though, reducing unsprung weight will help all aspects of performance - that is, acceleration in ANY direction, be that longitudinal, lateral or rotational.
That's why racing cars often use Magnesium wheels - super light! They're also flammable, but hey, anything in the name of performance, right? ;-)

I think the rims were just under 27lb each when I put mine on a scale.....
Where are you get 50+lbs each?<ul><li><a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/rs4b7/msgs/54969.phtml">https://forums.audiworld.com/rs4b7/msgs/54969.phtml</a</li></ul>

Re: I think the rims were just under 27lb each when I put mine on a scale.....
sorry for the confusion. i saw an older posting that had the stock wheels at 35lbs each. so using a 20lb wheel on each corner would be a savings of 15lbs each (60lbs in total). but then, you weighed in the stock wheel at around 27lbs ...

No big deal; I just didn't want you to have an unrealistic idea of the weight you might save. I have found that along with all of the great information we have on this board a small amount of it can be misinformation. Especially from some of the BMW guys that don't even own an Audi.
