Phantom RS

I spotted two RS4's just on my first day in Auckland. I'd never seen two in a day on the street before. Later, saw an Avant. Very nice. I checked one out up close. Clearly Eurospec. Of course right hand drive as they drive on the left here. Oh, and no RNS-E. I thought that was odd. Sorry no pics.

Seems like all types of S- and RS- cars here, and that they may even outnumber the A-'s. Perhaps just an Auckland thing.

I've have seen way more in the two months I've been in NZ than I did during the 16 months I've had mine in the states. Saw red and black avants on the road in Christchurch in one day. Interesting given that you can't get a second-hand one here for under 100k US. Wish I'd bought mine over for some of the driving we did around the south island - it would have been 12k all up for the round trip. I went to the other extreme and bought a 1970 Mini Cooper instead...

Saw a nice old school Nogaro RS2 in Havelock/Nelson and there is a papaya current-model S3 at the dealership in Chch at the mo.
